Earlier this month I hopped on a couple tour dates with Roanoke, Virginia rapper Poe Mack, he’s currently touring with Grammy Award winning producer 9th Wonder throughout the East Coast. Mack makes his living as a manager of a recording studio in Salem, Virginia. On the weekends he is an opening act on the Middle East Mic Fest tour presented by Grammy Award winning producer 9th Wonder and JAMLA Records. Tour life for Mack consists of long solo drives, carrying his own bags, splitting hotel rooms, and hoping to cover his travel expenses with the money he receives from the venue. The tour ends on August 6th in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

I’ve met a couple new people in the scene and received some advice on how I can build on the previous body of work.
